1877 – Windsor Island Resort

Our multi-generational family came down to Florida for our Granddaughter’s 5th birthday. We had 7 adults and 2 kids (7 & 5) and the home was perfect for everyone. Great rooms for adults and fun themed rooms for the kids.

When we arrived the home was welcoming with some lights and music one. Started off great with our first impression.

We all loved the pool area also. We paid the extra to heat the pool (January) and it was well worth it. The water was warm when we arrived and stayed warm the entire time, even with a couple cooler nights.

The hosts always replied promptly with questions prior to our arrival and checked in to make sure we were good during our stay.

Easy check in and check out process.

Overall our stay at Windsor was perfect! The one thing to know would be that there is only one entrance and exit which can back up quite often. It seemed like there were busier times over others but you just had to plan for it which was no big deal!

The house was great for our family on our vacation!

The house is beautiful as described. The clubhouse amenities were a great added bonus. We did encounter a couple of issues, one being the remote to the outside lights was missing and we didn’t get much use of the lanai at night due to one of our guests being legally blind. Someone did come out but stated they would rather comeback when we were off property and not intrude on us. Another issue was the smoke detector batteries were dying and the smoke detector was extremely high up. We reached out and were told the issue would be fixed while we were out for the night, received confirmation that the job was complete and came back to find that it was still an issue. Response time through chat was slow and would have preferred an after hours number to call for issues. Also, just an FYI, you will need your own PlayStation account to take advantage of the game system. Overall we loved the property. The issues we encountered would not keep us from booking this property in the future

My family and I have stayed in many airbnbs in Davenport and this one was by far our favorite. The themed rooms were incredible. We loved that there wasn't anybody behind us and the privacy screens on the pool cage so you didn't feel like the neighbors were looking right in. We especially loved how close the house was to the clubhouse/resort like amenities. We often would enjoy walking the 3 minutes to the pool or mini golf and were surprised at how many activities the clubhouse held for the kids. This was the best vacation for our family and we will definitely be back 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Davenport! The house was spotless, very well designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy, the rooms were tastefully furnished, and the backyard was absolutely stunning — the pool and outdoor area made it feel like a private oasis.

The only issue we ran into was with the check-in process. When we arrived, security didn’t have our reservation in their system and wouldn’t let us in, which was stressful since we had infants in the car. Thankfully, the community manager helped us get access that evening, and the host was able to correct the issue about an hour later.

Once we were settled in, everything was perfect, and we really enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely recommend this home and would stay again, hopefully with a smoother check-in next time!

Todo en general super bueno, excelente todo lo relacionado a la casa.
Excepto por el check in. Al momento de registrarnos para entrar nos indican que no estábamos registrados y que no podíamos tener acceso al alojamiento. Tratamos de comunicarnos con el anfitrión y no obtuvimos respuesta, quedamos sin respuesta hasta el día siguiente. Gracias a una persona de seguridad que nos dejó entrar pudimos acceder al alojamiento, al día siguiente nadie nos contactó, nuevamente tuvimos que llamar a airbnb y seguir intentando contactar al anfitrión hasta que por fin obtuvimos respuesta y nos agregaron a la lista. Pasamos un muy mal rato esa noche de llegada ya que estabamos cansados y veníamos con niños, nosotros informamos con anticipación que ibamos a llegar a esa hora (10:00pm) y quedamos a esa hora sin respuestas.
Airbnb nos iba a buscar un nuevo alojamiento si no teníamos respuesta pero gracias a la buena voluntad del personal de seguridad que nos dejaron ingresar a las 00:30am.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, well-equipped with great amenities, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything so easy. The location was perfect, close to plenty of restaurants, shops and local attractions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful home! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. The splash park was a plus for the children!

A lovely home with great privacy. The pool was a nice size and kept nice and clean. The best area of the house was the themed gaming area which kept my four children occupied. Great for teenagers! All the bedrooms were nicely decorated and the main bedroom downstairs had a very comfortable bed which was needed after days out at Disney and Universal. There was plenty of towels for use and a good complimentary starter kit of essential items. I would 100% recommend this house and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in the future or other properties with Magic Vacations!

Wonderful stay with great clubhouse amenities.

We had a great time on our 4-night vacation. The house was great, with plenty of space and things to do. However, this is a resort community where houses are close together, so we were woken up by neighbors playing in their pool or listening to music a couple times.

This home is also very close to the main amenities center, with access to pools, a game room, mini golf, and other fun activities for the whole family.

We would definitely come back again.

The house was exactly as listed. Layout was great with kids rooms together. Very responsive host when a small issue with pool heat happened. It was taken care of quickly so we could enjoy the pool with heat. Great location and within walking distance to community amenities.

This home and experience was beautiful. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. Plenty of space; VERY VERY clean, which I am extremely big on (non negotiable for me); it smelled great and we felt so at home. It was perfect for my family’s trip to Disney. The host was friendly and responsive. I would absolutely book this house again for my next trip back to Orlando.

The home was very spacious and had some nice privacy in the back - we enjoyed the additional privacy screening in the lanai and no properties directly behind. Overall an enjoyable experience and would book again.

We booked this place for our family's Disney stay. It was a great location from Disney and there are plenty of stores close by for food, gas, groceries. The pictures look just like the photos and there's plenty of places to sleep. The upstairs projector room and couch is fun for large families with kids. I wish we were able to get an earlier check in other than 45 mins before as there was a large line of traffic that took 25 mins + to get into the gate as other vacationers were checking in as well. If I had to be picky, the kids bunk rooms were lackluster as far as decoration, the Harry Potter candle lights didn't work, and we had to call the handyman to fix the Mario Arcade game and it still didn't work. Overall, it was a great area to stay and I'll stay in Davenport again.

The house was clean with a lot of space for me and my family. The upstairs lounging area was perfect and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and responded very quickly to all our needs.

I’ve stayed at a few Airbnbs, but this one was particularly good. The host was very responsive, and the home was exactly like the photos. I highly recommend paying for the additional pool heating and BBQ access. The pool and BBQ are a must-use. The resort area has cookie-cutter home models with zero lot lines, but what made this home special was its open and private backyard view. It was a great value. It’s about a 25-35 minute drive from Disney, but it was worth it considering the size, amenities, and value. The home is quite spacious and has a great flow through the kitchen. After dealing with a property management company that oversaw the home, I’m more inclined to reserve an Airbnb with a management company than an end-user. As a note, this applies to all the entire property homes, nothing Magic is responsible for. Getting into the property during Disney season can be a hassle. You can expect to wait 25-45 minutes just to get in. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
