3157 – Storey Lake Resort Toggle favorite

This was an excellent place to stay for our family - loved the themed rooms. The location allowed for an easy drive to the parks and of some local sites such as the town of Celebration. Close by were supermarkets and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and made use of the club house. Would highly recommend this place for a stay in Orlando.

I really enjoyed this beautifully decorated and detailed to a family townhouse. Magic was very easily accessible if needed but we did not need to contact them during our stay as all the check in and check out instructions were made very clear by written emails and several postings throughout the house, which were very helpful. The community pool did not allow any food or drinks brought from home which was the only negative I can say about this property. Other than that we were happy with our rental and had a great time throughout our stay.

Great! Clean! Responsive! Easy as a first timer!

Traveling with 4 children ranging 9-15 can always be stressful. This property took the stress away and was everything we could have wanted, and more. The kids were excited for the themed rooms and the private pool. The walking distance to the clubhouse was perfect ! Even arriving early in the morning we felt right at home, and that feeling carried on through the week, the kids didn’t want to leave !

This place was an awesome! Bring your own coffee though! There’s a Keurig and a regular pot but no coffee.

We had a great time at this townhome in Storey lake! When you walk in, everything is exactly as pictured, the glass tables and mirrors are spotless, it smells fresh, there are little table settings on the island counter, adorable. It's walking distance from the clubhouse which was a great time for everyone.The managing group was kind enough to allow us to check in a little early as our flight landed in the morning, and we were very grateful. Unfortunately there were some bugs in the house, which is not the managing company's fault at all, as storms were coming I believe that bugs were finding their way into homes in the area, when I reached out to the managing group to let them know, they were very responsive. What was a little concerning was the bathtub had a hair catcher we had to take out to give our son a bath, and that had mold on it like it hadn't been washed in a long time, there were also some wrappers left behind from the previous renter. Everything else was Perfect!

This home was gorgeous and we get right at home. We didn't get to enjoy the amenities of the community due to weather and other theme park plans but we really enjoyed the space. The host was very responsive and communicated well. They went above an beyond to address and answer any questions I had before and after my arrival. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Overall great experience, awesome house with great rooms and amenities.

Cozy. Quiet. Comfortable. Just what our family needed.

Pros: location!! Within 15min to everything and 5min to both Target/Publix. Also 5min walk to the main pool area. We spent a lot of time here with our one and four yr old. Full bar and food menu also. For the price, great find! Easy check in/out

Cons: During our stay the lazy River was not heated and unbearably cold. Biggest con is: they give code for the gym to use "after hours" that does not work (mgmt at pool said code never works). The gym does not open until 9am so we had to pay $150 for another gym for the week (very disappointing and mgmt company basically said tough luck). The house was clean but could have used a couple more items: only 1 dish towel for example, pans were old and hard to use, zero condiments (which is stated) but this included salt and pepper. The grill is not included in the price.
Management response time could have been a little faster also. And friendlier to be honest but the place and location are great!

Overall, we enjoyed staying in the unit. The location and community amenities were great. The check-in process was easy as well and we loved the themes of the bedrooms. I do have to say though that the air conditioner needs attention. Even though we would set the thermostat at 72 (as requested by the owner since they advised that if it was set below 72, the unit would freeze) most of the time the unit would remain around 74 or 75. I did advise the owner of this but no call to a technician was made. I also asked if they would provide fans in the unit since the unit did not have ceiling fans and they did not accommodate that request either. Overall the unit is nice but just be prepared so sweat if the AC issue is not addressed.

Overall we had a great vacation. The property was exactly how it was presented online. The owners of the house communicated with us promptly from the beginning and were extremely helpful. The house was clean and perfect for our Disney vacation. I would highly recommend this property especially if you have young kids (Mickey room was a hit) since it had a pool, was close to the parks, and the clubhouse with splash pad/water area. This home was perfect in every way. It was beautifully set up when we arrived, from the mickey mouse plates on the island to the mickey characters on the children's beds! They were so excited to be "staying" with Mickey. Everything else needed was there and clean and fresh. The owner e-mailed us upon our arrival to see if we had any questions and happily assisted us in getting to know the television/cable system. The location was also great...10 minutes to Disney and less than 5 minutes to a Publix, Walmart and Target so picking up supplies was easy. Although time and weather didn't permit, the activities that were available on the premises were great and would have provided a lot of fun for the kids as well.I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It’s in a great location and the community has wonderful amenities. We could have spent several more days just taking advantage of the neighborhood pool. I took the other reviewers advice and brought extra supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer tablets and trash bags. Otherwise the house is well stocked. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
